[PC]Max Payne 3 Review

Written by igcompany on Sunday, 17 June 2012 10:44.

Now before i start this review i must say that Max Payne 3 had one of the most impressive and entertaining stories by far from all the games that i have been playing lately.

Good. Now let's begin. This review may also contain spoilers.

The game begins with a small clip from the last mission. Max Payne is on an airport and is ready to eliminate the last two enemies but then he starts to tell us his story since he left New York. The game has XIV chapters and even if i played it on medium i must say it is the hardest game i have ever played. I had to shot at least three bullets in their heads to eliminate them. Besides that the game becomes similar to Alan Wake after one point since all you do is to shoot, shoot and shoot. You get stuck in one place (room, parking lot) and there you get a series of 10 soldiers to fight with. After you're done with them, there comes another series of 10 soldiers and then another one. Only after that you can proceed to the next room or location. More than that if they get you, you will be respawned several locations behind. So you must play very careful (i can't imagine how hard it is to play it on hard).

In the most part of the game we see Max Payne as a bodyguard for a famous rich family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There are a couple of missions in New York where Max tells us his story back in America and how he got chased down from USA all the way down to Brazil.

The whole game is full of kindappings, ransoms, police and mafia.

In the first few chapters the big sister from the family is getting kidnapped. Max is trying to chase the kidnappers down until the last few missions. In the meanwhile in the rich brazilian familly there are happening a lot more things. The family that Max is guarding is represented by three brothers and two sisters.

After the big sister is kidnapped the big (and the richest) brother is being attacked in his office by the police who is trying to kill him (yes i will get back to this).

GTA V: New Details to be Released Soon

Written by igcompany on Friday, 15 June 2012 10:04.

I don't know about you but now that the summer is here and the number of hot days is getting bigger i almost instantly think about GTA San Andreas.

Maybe because it didn't had a multiplayer option, that's the reason why i explored every corner of the city and every feature of the game. You could almost feel the LA sun or should we say the Los Santos sun?

When Rockstar announced GTA V and we could see in the trailer that it was going to be set again in the same city as San Andreas was, i wasn't pretty excited about this ideea. I'm always looking for new stories in the upcoming games but i have to say that a GTA V set in the same city as San Andreas, a few years after SA and with much better graphics kinda made me lift an eyebrow. It is almost sure that we will have a multiplayer option in GTA 5 and we should have a pretty good one after the first one that got introduced in GTA IV.

GTA V Real Estate

I have also played GTA IV and even if the graphics were at another level the whole game was kind of boring and the city was not as 'gangsta' as Los Santos. Rockstar always made a good job with the GTA series and we should see new updates soon (maybe in a month) as one of the officials from Rockstar said back in february that they will release some screenshots and news in a few months. As it was hinted in a few stores the game should be released in december 2012, but as Rockstar is lazy to release some news we may see a delay for the game that is awaited by so many fans.

I'm looking forward to this game, expecially for the multiplayer option. If the game was already out i'm sure many of you would have enjoyed the virtual sun in Los Santos and not the real life sun. So we may get a portion of that sunny Los Santos this winter.

Oh yeah and it's sure that we will have a PC version of the game but as Rockstar used us we may see it a couple of weeks after the release for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Confirmed: The next NFS will be named Most Wanted

Written by igcompany on Friday, 01 June 2012 17:02.

It's official. This has been announced just a few minutes ago. EA finally got it that the fans of this series don't really like the legal racing games so they are finally getting back to the old game that blasted the success for EA's racing games: Most Wanted. But wait ... why is EA getting back to the old names?

This tells me that they are out of inspiration even for names. The name should be the first thing that should tell you if a game is any good.

NFS: Most Wanted will be developed by Criterion and in my opinion will be a mix between the old Most Wanted and 2012 graphics. I'm disappointed that the developers just can't find the good way for this series. After they tested the market with legal racing games like Pro Street and Shift now they are getting back to the old ideea of illegal racing but can't even give the new NFS a brand new name.

The conference about the upcoming NFS will be live at E3 on june 4th. We will bring you updates from that event but until then here is the first official screenshot:

What's your opinion regarding the 'new' name for the upcoming Need for Speed?

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013: E3 Presentation Video

Written by igcompany on Friday, 01 June 2012 07:12.

With just 5 days until E3 2012 Konami released a pre E3 video for the fans of the Pro Evolution Soccer series. In this video you can see several interviews and feature presentation. As i stated in our pervious article Konami seems that is switching the gears down instead of switching them up and i kind of keeping my opinion even now after i have seen the presentation video. They need to come up with something more better than this to compete with EA's FIFA.

I hope the final version of PES 2013 will be looking a lot better and that we will have some great news from E3. During E3 we will compare these two serieses as we are getting the updates.

Here is the E3 Presentation Video for Pro Evolution Soccer 2013:
