Gears of War 3 confirmed... But not until Next-Gen
Gamers all around the world have been patiently waiting for the Gears of War 3 announcement, Now they have it... Well more or less. Epic Games President Mike Capps said that the highly anticipated sequel to 2008's killer app Gears of War 2 will not be released until the next console generation, which will probably be in five years(ouch).
"If there were a next Gears of War game, that will be for the next console generation whenever that is" Capps told a small group at the Tokyo Game Show. The reason for this may be that Epic Games plans to develop Gears 3 on the Unreal 4 Engine(yes UNREAL 4), which is currently in development and probably won't be ready until Next-gen consoles are released.
On the positive side at least the game was announced... Sort of.

hmm. im not really a gears of war fan but i got gears of war 2. And its not really my style.
Its good that they make for next generation consoles a new gears of war because now poeple can look forward to it. or it will be like halo and cod. There getting to much of em.
