[Xbox 360]GTA V to be released in winter 2012

Written by igcompany on Saturday, 21 April 2012 12:00.

Just like we announced in our article, several weeks ago we hinted for a Q4 2012 release date for GTA V. Now several stores announced the availability of GTA V in winter 2012. That's exactly how we hinted: Q4 2012.

GTA V Release Date

For now no price announced and it's pretty possible just like in GTA IV's case that the first versions available will be for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. PC users may have to wait until spring 2013 because of Rockstar Game's possible loss caused by piracy.

Our guess on the price is: $69.99. The price should drop in the first half of the year after the release and several stores may have offers priced around $49.99.

So console gamers won't have pretty much to wait and they will play GTA V by the winter holidays. Santa better prepare! More info and maybe an official release date from Rockstar Games we may see at E3 since the company is currently focused on the release of Max Payne 3 in may.

Other than that the game will only feature Ferrari cars so there won't by an impressing collection of cars. The game can be saved by it's gameplay which can be seen in the next official trailer:

Legal races only so this would fit perfect for a steering wheel drive! Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends is expected to be released in june 2012 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Still waiting the time when we will say: '...will be released on Xbox 720 and Playstation 4.'

MAJESCO ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES DOUBLE DRAGON: NEON, TAKING GAMERS BACK TO THE EIGHTIES

Head into the danger zone as Billy and Jimmy Lee are introduced to a new generation with a radical reimagining of the beloved Double Dragon franchise, playable at PAX East

EDISON, NJ., April 5, 2012 - Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, announced today that Double Dragon: Neon will be released as a full-scale digital game on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network this summer. Majesco Entertainment has once again partnered with WayForward, the award-winning team known for bringing franchise favorites including BloodRayne: Betrayal back to audiences in exciting new ways, and is thrilled for the fan-favorite developer to put its signature spin on the father of all brawlers: Double Dragon! Double Dragon: Neon isn't a shoddy sequel - it's a face-melting 80's tour de force! Featuring bodacious characters, gnarly combat, and a retro aesthetic, it's pure over-the-top baditude... to the max!

"Double Dragon: Neon is far from a standard retro remake," said Sean Velasco, Director, WayForward. "It's WayForward's love letter to the decade that spawned the franchise - the music, the style, and culture of the 80's pulse through the nucleus of Double Dragon: Neon. But don't think this is a simple graphical facelift; with our innovative "mix tape" level up system and power-up high-fives, we pushed it to the limit!"

Known for the beautiful aesthetics and renowned gameplay of A Boy and his Blob, Contra 4, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and BloodRayne: Betrayal, WayForward is applying its focused attention to detail on Double Dragon: Neon. Taking place in a hyper-saturated omniverse, players beat up baddies across earth and beyond against the Black Dragon Clan's most nefarious leader yet-- the supernatural scourge Skullmageddon. You could go it alone, but why wouldn't you want to grab a buddy and take your game to the next level with drop-in, drop-out online ‘Bro-Op'?!

Gamers will get a tempting glimpse of this fresh take on Double Dragon this week at PAX East where Double Dragon: Neon will be debuting a playable demo.

Double Dragon: Neon on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 and PlayStation®Network is expected to release this summer.
