Campaign Mode

Campaign mode offers a cinematic, story-driven campaign experience that you can play alone, with a second player in local split-screen co-op, or with up to three other players via Xbox LIVE.

Campaign mode features two distinct modes of play: Standard and Arcade.

To create an Xbox LIVE online cooperative match in either Campaign mode, go to the Main menu, press [X] to open the Party menu, and invite players to your Xbox LIVE party. Once you've assembled a party, start a Campaign game by selecting Campaign from the Main menu. You can also invite players while in a game by pressing [START], and then pressing [X] to open the Party menu.

Standard

Experience the thrilling conclusion to the Gears trilogy alone or with up to three other players.

Arcade

Compete to earn the highest scores possible in each chapter of the campaign. The key to maximizing earned points in Arcade mode is your score multiplier, indicated by the COG icon on the left of the HUD.

The more enemies you dispatch, the higher your multiplier climbs. The multiplier meter will decrease with damage taken, and decrease drastically when you or your squadmates are DBNO. Slain squadmates in Arcade mode will respawn when the next checkpoint is reached.

The multiplier can be further modified by applying a variety of Mutators to increase or decrease difficulty. Fight hard and climb the leaderboards!

Take to the skies in Medal of Honor Airborne, where you’ll drop into grueling ground attacks in a bid to turn the tide of WWII. Begin each mission in the air above Axis controlled battlefields, then make your mark in the largest airborne operations in history.

Starting with your jump from a C-47 transport plane, every choice you make can seal your fate. Your ability to determine your own starting point dramatically changes the way each mission plays out. View the entire operation from the air, and then control your parachute to choose your landing spot. On the ground, gather your senses and assess the terrain. A wide variety of authentic, customizable weapons are at your disposal, each with distinct characteristics. Choose your path in this free roaming FPS environment.
