The decline of the Medal of Honor Series

I'm sure many of you fps lovers have played Medal of Honor Allied Assault (what a great game!). And then maybe you played the Expansion Packs Breakthrough and Spearhead!

But despite the succes of the Medal of Honor series at the beggining of it in the last years it started to decline. What could it be?

Of course it might be because the Call of Duty series got more famous (and Activision is releasing a new game in the series every year!). I would love to see that happening at Medal of Honor too but EA seems to think it is better to release a game every few years. It would be great if they would release the game every three years and make it great but lately they are releasing it late and bad!

The last good Medal of Honor on PC in my opinion was Pacific Assault which had great graphics for that time (2004).

Airborn tried to seem like the first mission from Spearhead but it mostly got bad reviews.

The last one from 2010 was made on the Frostbite engine (the second version of this engine was used in the making of Battlefield 3) and the graphics are pretty cool but the gameplay is bad! It has a lot of bugs and it's nowere near Allied Assault which it's still playable these days!

Medal of Honor Allied Assault is one of the fewest games that i still love to play even if it doesn't have great graphics for these days's standards! This game had a strange perfection. I think it was because of the gameplay and the old graphics that seem like those old recordings during the war.

I hope EA will do something to bring up the good Medal of Honor back and i hope they will do that starting with the next one which is rumoured to be released this year! I loved the old action Medal of Honor not the new one where they tried to seem like Modern Warfare.
