GTA V Confirmed for Spring 2013. Pre-Orders start next week.
Just a quick post to let you know that we've been right with the launch date for GTA V. After there were several rumors and pictures about the release date for GTA V, Rockstar has finally confirmed the release date for GTA V for somewhere in the spring of 2013!
And the screen they have posted makes you think further than the period when the game will be launched ... makes you think about summer!
Also pre-orders start next week which is also interesting because Rockstar used us to build up the tension for their games but now because of the many leaks they have experienced, they had to confirm the release date for the game and to start the pre-order session first and maybe a few days later we will see some new screenshots and videos.
Still, PC gamers may have to wait until fall or winter 2013 because this announcement is only for PS3 and Xbox360. Let's hope the PC version will not be a bad port from consoles like GTA IV was.
Later Edit: Rockstar published the next comment on their announcement regarding the PC version:
"Hey guys, glad to see so much enthusiasm about the release announcement. For those asking about the PC platform, we're currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and don't have any details to share about a PC version at this time."
